Playgrounds
Castlebar Town Council provided state of the art playground at a convenient location at Lough Lannagh Road. It continues to be a very popular facility.
An additional playground was provided as part of the new Saleen housing estate (Lios na Circe) and a further playground was constructed by Mayo County Council at Knockthomas (Between An Sruthan & Cois Abhainn Estates).
A major amenity area is currently being planned at The Fairgreen.
